To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You Movie Review

Mary O'Brien

I am going to sum up this movie in one sentence. This movie was not my favorite. I liked the first one, don’t get me wrong. I am all for the first one, actually, and I would watch it over and over. That could be the reason why I didn’t like the second one, because I compared it to the first too much.

I am going to start off by saying that Peter is sweet and all, but he is just not the one for Lara Jean. First off, Peter and Lara Jean have polar opposite personalities. POLAR opposite. Being so different from someone can sometimes work out really well at the start, but after a while, as shown in this movie, it does not last. They did not trust one another, which can ruin a relationship for sure.

The main issue I had with this movie was that Lara Jean only ended up with Peter because she believed what Gen (someone who was incredibly mean throughout both movies) said about Peter loving her. That is what bothered me the most. Overall, I was not satisfied with this movie. It is worth watching, but I would not call it a great use of time. I hope that To All The Boys 3 will be better!
